Winning Hand Roofing & Restoration is a roofing and storm restoration contractor working across Southern Indiana, Middle Tennessee and Kentucky. We handle residential and commercial roofing, storm and hail damage restoration, insurance claims, siding, gutters, windows and doors. What ties all of it together is straightforward: we do the job properly the first time, and we are still here afterwards.
The company was built by Richard Riggs on a simple observation about this industry. Roofing attracts a lot of operators who show up after a storm, sell hard, install fast and are unreachable when something goes wrong two years later. Homeowners are left holding a warranty from a company that no longer exists. We built Winning Hand to be the opposite of that: a permanent business with a real address, a reputation in the communities we work in, and our name attached to every roof we put on.
We are a GAF Certified Residential Roofing Contractor and a CertainTeed ShingleMaster. Those certifications are not decoration. They require verified licensing, insurance and installation standards, and they allow us to offer manufacturer-backed warranties that most contractors simply cannot provide. If a product fails on a roof we installed, the manufacturer stands behind it alongside us.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Roofs do not fail at convenient times, and when a storm opens one up the difference between a call answered at midnight and a call answered on Monday is usually measured in thousands of dollars of interior damage.
If you have storm damage or need a contractor to help you through the insurance process, look no further. These guys actually know what they are doing. We have dealt with 3 or 4 other contractors out of the evansville and newburgh area of southern indiana, and Winning Hand is truly unmatched. They can do it all!!
On time, efficient, and courteous. I will keep the contact information of this outfit handy for future reference.
Thank you, Bailey!!!
Every job starts with a free inspection. We get on the roof, assess the whole system rather than the one spot you called about, and give you a written assessment of what we found. If your roof has years left in it, we will tell you that. We would rather give you an honest answer and earn the work later than sell you a replacement you did not need.
From there you get a written scope before anything begins. It sets out exactly what we are doing, what materials we are using and what it costs. That number does not move halfway through the job. The most common complaint homeowners have about contractors is the price that changes once the work has started, and it is entirely avoidable if the roof was assessed properly in the first place.
On insurance work we handle the claim directly. We photograph and document every affected slope to the standard your insurer requires, and we deal with the adjuster ourselves. Most underpaid claims are not underpaid because the damage was not real. They are underpaid because the initial documentation was too thin to prove it, and that is not something a homeowner should have to argue about alone.
Every job finishes with a walkthrough. We go over the work with you, answer anything outstanding, and make sure the site is left as we found it before we call it complete. We do not gamble with your home.
Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or were sent by someone who did. That only happens if you do the job right the first time.
Every roof we install is backed by a workmanship warranty from us and a manufacturer warranty on materials. If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we come back and make it right.
I started Winning Hand Roofing & Restoration because I got tired of watching homeowners around here get taken advantage of.
After every big storm the out of town crews roll in, knock doors, collect a deposit and disappear. By the time something goes wrong with that roof, the number does not work anymore. That is not how I want this business remembered.
I built this company to be here for the long run, which means every job has to hold up years after the check clears. So I tell people the truth about what I find. If your roof has ten good years left, I will say so. If a repair fixes it, that is what I will quote you. I would rather lose the job than sell you a roof you do not need.
I am building this into a real company with a trained team and a standard we hold on every install, not a truck and a ladder. When you hire Winning Hand, you know exactly who is accountable for the work.
We assess your roof top to bottom and show you exactly what we find. No cost, no pressure.
We are based in Rockport, Indiana, and we work across Southern Indiana, Middle Tennessee and Kentucky. Being a permanent local business rather than a travelling storm crew is central to how we operate.
