Roof replacement stripped to the deck by Winning Hand Roofing
What a Replacement Involves

A Complete Roof System, Not Just New Shingles

A roof replacement is the whole system, not a fresh layer over an old problem. We strip the existing roof back to the deck, because that is where the surprises live. Soft decking, failed flashing and old water damage do not show up in an inspection from the ground, and covering them over is exactly how a new roof starts leaking within a few years.

Once the deck is sound, the system goes back on in order: ice and water shield in the valleys and at the eaves, synthetic underlayment across the field, new flashing at every penetration rather than reusing what was there, correct ridge and soffit ventilation, then the shingles or metal panels themselves.

Ventilation is the step most often skipped and it is the one that decides whether your new roof reaches its rated life or bakes itself out a decade early. A roof that cannot breathe cooks from underneath regardless of what is on top of it.

Every replacement finishes with a full walkthrough and a magnet run over the grounds for nails before we call the job complete.

Getting the Number Right

A Written Price That Does Not Change

We do not quote a roof from the driveway. Size, pitch, the number of valleys and penetrations, access and material all move the figure, and an estimate that ignores them is an estimate that gets revised once the crew is up there. We measure properly and put the scope in writing first.

If your replacement is going through insurance, we document the damage in full and deal with the adjuster ourselves. Most underpaid claims are not underpaid because the damage was not real, but because the initial inspection was too thin to prove it.

Financing is available from $99 a month with 0% APR options, up to 12 months same-as-cash, terms to ten years and $0 down, including options for imperfect credit. Veterans, active military and first responders receive 10% off.

Book a free inspection and we will tell you honestly whether the roof needs replacing at all. Plenty do not.

why choose us

five Reasons Homeowners Deal Us In

Winning Hand Roofing & Restoration About Image2
Built on Repeat Customers

Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or were sent by someone who did. That only happens if you do the job right the first time.

When a storm hits, we don’t wait for business hours. Call any time, day or night, and we’ll get someone out to tarp, assess, and stop further damage before it gets worse.
We work directly with your adjuster and document everything with photos and a detailed report. Most homeowners never have to chase down paperwork or fight for what they’re owed.
We carry full licensing and insurance everywhere we work, and our crews are certified to install the systems we recommend. That means proper installation and warranties that actually hold up.

Every roof we install is backed by a workmanship warranty from us and a manufacturer warranty on materials. If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we come back and make it right.

Common Questions About Roof Replacement

How much does a roof replacement cost?
It depends on size, pitch, complexity and material. We measure the roof and give you a written price with the scope spelled out, so you know exactly what you are paying for and the figure does not move.
Most residential replacements are a one to two day job. Larger or more complex rooflines run longer. We give you a realistic timeframe in the written quote rather than an optimistic one.
Granules collecting in the gutters, curling or cracking across the whole roof, multiple leaks in different places, or a roof past twenty years. Isolated damage on a younger roof is a repair. Widespread failure is not.
We do not recommend it. Layering hides deck damage, adds weight, shortens the life of the new shingles and can void the manufacturer warranty. We strip to the deck.

If the damage came from a covered event such as hail or wind, often yes. Age-related wear is not covered. The outcome usually turns on how well the damage was documented.

Manufacturer warranty on the materials plus our workmanship warranty on the installation. As a GAF Certified contractor and CertainTeed ShingleMaster we can offer enhanced manufacturer coverage.

Yes. From $99 a month, 0% APR options, up to 12 months same-as-cash, terms to ten years and $0 down.

No. We manage debris throughout rather than only at the end and run a magnet over the grounds for nails before we finish.
