The dangerous thing about hail damage is that it does not leak. Not at first. Hail bruises a shingle by fracturing the mat underneath and knocking the protective granules loose, and a bruised shingle looks almost normal from the driveway while its remaining life has been cut dramatically. The leak arrives a year or two later and by then the storm date may be outside your claim window.
Wind damage works differently but hides just as well. Wind lifts shingles and breaks the adhesive seal that holds each course down. The shingle drops back into place looking untouched, but it is no longer sealed, and the next driving rain goes underneath it rather than over it.
The signs worth checking from the ground are granules collecting in gutters and at the bottom of downspouts, dented vents, flashing or gutter faces, and any shingle that looks lifted at the edge. Any of those after a storm means the roof should be properly inspected.
We are available 24 hours a day. If a storm has opened your roof up, call us and we will get out to secure it.
A storm inspection is not a walk around the yard. We get on the roof, assess every slope, and photograph and document the damage to the standard an insurer actually requires. That documentation is the difference between a claim paid at the right level and one paid at half, and it is the single most common reason legitimate claims get short-changed.
We then deal with your adjuster directly. You should not have to argue about shingle bruising over the phone with someone who has not seen your roof, and you should not be the one explaining why the damage qualifies.
If the roof needs securing before anything else happens, we do that first. Stopping water reaching the structure protects the interior and stops a roofing claim from turning into a much larger one.
The inspection is free and there is no obligation. If the storm did not damage your roof, we will tell you that too.
Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or were sent by someone who did. That only happens if you do the job right the first time.
Every roof we install is backed by a workmanship warranty from us and a manufacturer warranty on materials. If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we come back and make it right.
