What We Do

Complete Residential Roofing, Start to Finish

Residential roofing is the core of what we do. That covers everything from a single failing flashing detail through to stripping a roof back to the deck and rebuilding the whole system, and it covers every kind of home we work on: older properties with steep pitches and complicated rooflines, subdivision housing built to a single spec, and rural homes where the outbuildings matter as much as the house.

What separates a roof that reaches its rated life from one that does not is rarely the shingle brand. It is the parts nobody sees. Ice and water shield in the valleys and at the eaves. Synthetic underlayment across the field. New flashing at every penetration rather than reusing what was there. Correct ridge and soffit ventilation so the roof can breathe. Skip the ventilation and a perfectly good roof will cook itself from underneath and fail years early.

We install architectural asphalt shingles and standing seam metal. Shingles are the right answer for most homes. Metal costs more up front, lasts considerably longer and performs better against high wind. We will give you the honest comparison for your specific roof rather than steering you toward whichever product suits us.

Every residential job starts with a free inspection and a written assessment, and finishes with a walkthrough before we call it complete.

Why It Matters Who You Choose

Certified, Insured and Still Here in Five Years

Roofing attracts operators who arrive after a storm, sell hard, install fast and are unreachable when a problem turns up two years later. Homeowners are left holding a warranty from a company that no longer exists. We are a permanent business with a fixed address in Rockport, Indiana, and our name stays on every roof we install.

We are a GAF Certified Residential Roofing Contractor and a CertainTeed ShingleMaster. Both require verified licensing, insurance and installation standards, and both allow us to offer manufacturer-backed warranties that standard contractors cannot. Your installation is covered by our workmanship warranty on top of that.

You get a written scope before anything starts, setting out the work, the materials and the price. That number does not move halfway through. If the job involves an insurance claim, we document the damage properly and deal with the adjuster ourselves rather than leaving you to argue the case.

Financing is available from $99 a month with 0% APR options and $0 down, and veterans, active military and first responders receive 10% off. Book a free roof inspection and we will tell you exactly where your roof stands.

five Reasons Homeowners Deal Us In

Winning Hand Roofing & Restoration About Image2
Built on Repeat Customers

Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or were sent by someone who did. That only happens if you do the job right the first time.

When a storm hits, we don’t wait for business hours. Call any time, day or night, and we’ll get someone out to tarp, assess, and stop further damage before it gets worse.
We work directly with your adjuster and document everything with photos and a detailed report. Most homeowners never have to chase down paperwork or fight for what they’re owed.
We carry full licensing and insurance everywhere we work, and our crews are certified to install the systems we recommend. That means proper installation and warranties that actually hold up.

Every roof we install is backed by a workmanship warranty from us and a manufacturer warranty on materials. If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we come back and make it right.

Common Questions About Residential Roofing

How much does a residential roof replacement cost?
It depends on size, pitch, complexity and material, which is why we do not quote blind. We measure the roof and give you a written price with the scope spelled out, so the figure does not change once the crew is on site.
If the roof is relatively young and the problem is one valley or flashing detail, repair it. If shingles are shedding granules across every slope, or you are fixing a different leak every year, you are usually spending money on a roof that is finished. The free inspection tells you which situation you are in.
Most are a one to two day job. Larger or more complex rooflines run longer. We give you a realistic timeframe in the written quote rather than an optimistic one.
Architectural asphalt shingles suit the majority of homes and give the best balance of cost and performance. Standing seam metal costs more initially, lasts significantly longer and handles high wind better. We will walk you through both for your roof.
We do not recommend it. Layering hides deck damage, adds weight, shortens the life of the new shingles and can void the manufacturer warranty. We strip to the deck so we can see and fix what is underneath.
The manufacturer warranty on the materials plus our workmanship warranty on the installation. As a GAF Certified contractor and CertainTeed ShingleMaster we can offer enhanced manufacturer coverage.
Yes, at no cost and no obligation, with a written assessment at the end. If your roof has years left in it, we will say so.
Yes. From $99 a month, with 0% APR options, up to 12 months same-as-cash, terms up to 10 years and $0 down, including options for imperfect credit.
